Stolen vehicle burned, left in remote area

Sarnia police have recovered a stolen vehicle, believed to have been used during an industrial break-in on Scott Road earlier this week, burned and abandoned.

Police said that, on October 29, a truck rammed into the main gates of a locked property, where a Lincoln welder was reported stolen.

The truck was found in a remote area of Aamjiwnaang First Nation. It's also believed the vehicle was deliberately set on fire.

Officers also said the 2004 Ford commercial truck was stolen from a London Line business before the Scott Road break-in occurred.

The Sarnia Police Service is asking the public for tips to help in its investigation.
