OFVGA Seeking Outstanding Industry Contributors

The Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association is looking for nominations for it's annual Award of Merit.

That award recognizes an individual or group who has made outstanding contributions to the fruit and vegetable industry.

Executive Vice-President John Kelly says they want to recognize grass roots involvement and long time advocates in their industry.

The award could also be used to acknowledge exemplary performance and committment to Ontario's fruit and vegetable sector.

Nomination forms are available through the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association website or by contacting the Association's office.

Nomination deadline is November 30th.

The winner will be announced at the Association's annual meeting in Niagara Falls in January.
