U-S Corn Harvest Back On-Pace

After a slow start, U-S farmers have finally caught up to the average pace for their corn harvest.

The USDA says 80 per cent of the crop has been harvested, right on the 5 year average.

90 per cent of the U-S soybean crop is off - just one point behind the average.

American wheat growers are right on the five-year average pace with 93 per cent of that crop planted.

This week's USDA Crop Progress Report says 60 per cent of the winter wheat is rated good to excellent - one point better than last week, 5 points behind the same week last year.
