High Marks For Grey County Fleece

A Hanover exhibitor was a winner in the Royal's fleece competition.

Veronica Verweij took both first and second place in the naturally coloured, medium longwool class with scores of 96 and 94.

That was one of a total of 9 classes in the competition.

The 2014 Grand Champion scored a perfect 100 while the Reserve Grand Champion fleece was given a score of 99 out of 100.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
