More Midwestern Ontario Sheep Results From The Royal

Oak Generation of Walkerton had the Champion Ewe and Get of Sire in this year's Hampshire Sheep competition at the Royal.

They also recorded 7 top-five placings in the North Country Cheviot competition.

Todd Sheep Company of Lucknow won Champion Ram honours in the Any Other Breed class.

Emke and Wright Livestock of Elmwood had the Hampshire Reserve Champion Ewe among it's placings.

Donald and Marilyn Emke of Elmwood had animals in the Dorset and Any Other Breeds competition, winning the Get of Sire in the Any Other Breeds class.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
