Strong Bruce, Grey, Huron Showing In Royal Junior Heifer Show

Exhibitors from Bruce County took the top Maine Anjou honours in the 2014 National Junior Beef Heifer Show at the Royal.

Rebecca Hodgins of Bruce showed the Champion Maine Anjou Heifer.

Brittney Weber of Bruce had the Reserve Champion Maine Anjou Heifer.

Huron County's Melissa MacIntyre had the Champoin Limousin Heifer.

Sarah Wyville of Grey County showed the Reserve Champion Charolais Heifer.

Elliot Smith of Chatham-Kent had the Champion, Any Other Breed Heifer in this year's National Junior Beef Heifer Show.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
