More Production For Leamington Plant

The company that moved into the former Heinz factory in Leamington has high hopes for future growth.

Highbury Canco's John Krueger says one of the things they're looking at is the production of tomato paste.  Highbury Canco is currently producing tomato juice, canned beans and canned pastas for Heinz.

Krueger says they processed over 40,000 tonnes of tomatoes at the Leamington plant this season.

He says they're looking at adding new products to help grow the company.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
