Caroline Emond takes over the job in January.
Emond is a lawyer and lobbyist had worked for Dairy Farmers of Canada in a couple of roles from 1998 to 2006.
She then spent 5 years in the private sector and was most recently the Head of the Quebec General Delegation in Brussels, Belgium.
