Farm Video Challenge Winners Named

It was a first for the OFA - and it had roots in Bruce County.

This year's first-ever OFA 'Reel' Farm Video Challenge drew 19 entries in two different categories.

Nith Valley Organics took first place in the ag parody.

Country Roads Quartet was second.

Michelle Arsenault's rant about Keepin-It-Local with Ontario apples was first in that category.

Melisa Luymes' rant about Who Cares About Agriculture came in second.

First prize in each category was worth a thousand dollars - second 300.

The idea of the challenge was to promote Ontario agriculture and inspire price in Ontario farmers.

It was sponsored by OFA, Farm Credit Canada and the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture.

All videos can be seen on the OFA's YouTube channel.
