CCA: U-S COOL Appeal Delays End Of Battle

The Canadian Cattlemen's Association says the U-S appeal of the WTO's COOL ruling is a stall tactic.

President Dave Solverson argues it just means a little longer wait for the battle to be over.

He points out the appeal is the last procedural option the U-S has before Canada can exercise it's right to retaliate.

While disappointed with the appeal, Solverson admits it was expected.

The CCA figures we could get a decision on the appeal as early as spring of 2015.
