Milk Maker Forage Competition 2015 Deadline Coming Up

The end of this month is the deadline for entries in the second annual Milk Maker Forage Competition.

It's billed as an opportunity to showcase your high quality hay.

The competition is a partnership of the Canadian Forages and Grasses Association , Canadian Dairy XPO and the Ontario Forage Council.

Winning samples are exhibited at the Canadian Dairy XPO in Stratford.

Farms from Brunner, Alma, Dobbinton and Elmira were among last year's winners in the 6 different classes.

The application form and rules are on the Ontario Forage Council website.

Deadline for entries is December 31st.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
