Seed Corn Growers Join FAN

Farm Action Now has a new member.

Seed Corn Growers of Ontario has joined the coalition of agricultural organisations who share concerns about Ontario's agricultural regulatory process.

Farm Action Now says it's goal is a sustainable future for Ontario farmers.

Seed Corn Growers Chair Jeff Wilson says right now they're worried about what he calls the unrealistic proposal to restrict the use of neo-nic treated seeds by 80 per cent.

Wilson says Farm Action Now is the right path towards establishing what he calls a reasonable process for future agricultural regulations.

FAN Chair Craig Reid says they look forward to continuing to expand the group.
