Here in Ontario, production was off 15 point 6 per cent to 7 point 6 million tonnes.

According to it's survey of farmers, Statscan says provincial corn acreage was down almost 16 per cent this year.

Canadian wheat production was down 22 per cent while canola production was down 13 point 4 per cent from 2013.
