Sheep Group Joins CFA

The organisation representing this country's sheep and wool producers is joining the Canadian Federation of Agriculture.

Canadian Sheep Federation Chair Phil Kolodychuk says he believes the partnership will strengthen the sheep sector's advocacy efforts.

He says they look forward to working with the CFA on issues like trade and the next suite of federal agricultural policies.

Federation President Ron Bonnett says the sheep group's addition will further enhance the CFA's policy work and advocacy efforts on behalf of Canadian producers.
