South West Agricultural Conference Helping Farmers Rise To The Challenges

Rising up to the Challenges.

That's the theme for this year's South West Agricultural Conference starting tomorrow (Jan. 6th) at the University of Guelph's Ridgetown Campus.

The two-day event features more than 40 different sessions.

Tuesday's feature speaker is Doctor David Kohl from Virginia with a look at future trends of the agricultural industry and economy.

Wednesday's feature speaker is Greg Johnson - storm chaser and severe weather expert from Saskatchewan known as the Tornado Hunter.

Grain Farmers of Ontario is partnering with John Deere again this year to host some satellite locations for some of the January 7th sessions for those unable to get to Ridgetown.

The Midwestern Ontario location is the Royal Canadian Legion in Walkerton.

Contact GFO for more details on that.

The full agenda for the conference is on the SWAC website - southwestagconference.com.
