Holstein Canada has named 21 Master Breeders for 2015.
12 are from Ontario - including Albadon Farms of Teeswater.
Glenwin farm of Singhampton and Walnutlawn Farms Limited of Tavistock also made this year's list.
The Master Breeder Shields recognize breeders for having mastered the art of breeding balanced cattle - animals with high production and outstanding conformation combined with great production, health and longevity.
965 of the shields have been awarded in the program's 85 year existence.
Of this year's 21 winners, 11 are first-time recipients.
8 are receiving their second shield - 2 are getting their third awards.
The 2015 Master Breeders will be honoured at a special banquet as part of this year's National Holstein Convention in New Brunswick in April.
