Faces Of Farming Calendar Folks Already Working On 2016

Talk about thinking ahead.

We're barely into 2015 and the people at Farm & Food Care Ontario are already making plans for the 2016 Faces of Farming calendar.

Applications are now being accepted for the annual Faces of Farming calendar contest.

The winning family, pairing or individual will participate in either a spring or summer photo shoot to be part of next year's calendar.

They'll get complimentary copies of the calendar as well as two tickets and accommodation for the 2015 Ontario Harvest Gala and calendar launch later this fall.

Applications consist of an informal family photo and short essay.

Candidates must make their primary income from agriculture.

Entries can be emailed to contests@farmfoodcare.org - or mailed to Farm & Food Care Ontario's Guelph office.

Deadline is March 16th.

The Faces of Farming calendar has featured the faces and stories of almost 140 Ontario farmers and farm families since it was launched in 2005.

The overall goal of the calendar is to connect the public with the faces of Ontario agriculture.
