Ag Students Offered Communication And Leadership Challenge

Two Canadian groups have created a competition to help agricultural students improve their communication and leadership skills.

Farm Management Canada and the Canadian Association of Diploma in Agriculture Programs are collecting submissions from agricultural students across the country.

Those submissions can take the form of a multimedia presentation, a video, a Twitter chat, a blog or a Wiki.

They need to respond to the question: How can the agricultural industry best support young farmers looking to succeed in an ever-competitive and complex global marketplace.

The top three submissions will get scholarships to further their education in agriculture.

The top scholarship is worth 15 hundred dollars.

Deadline for submissions is May 8th.

More information is on the Farm Management Canada website - www.fmc-gac.com.
