Grey Cattlemen Approve Name Change

The group representing the cattlemen in Grey County has a new name.

What had been known as the Grey County Cattlemen's Association is now the Grey County Beef Farmers Association.

Spokesman Bill Herron says it's all part of aligning themselves with the provincial organisation, which changed it's name to Beef Farmers of Ontario last year.

The Grey organisation approved the name change at their annual meeting this week.

The Association's Board of Directors will elect the 2015 executive at it's next meeting.
