Holstein Canada Education Award Winners

Two young people from Ontario, two from Quebec are winners of Holstein Canada Education Awards.

The $1,000 awards are part of the Association's Young Leader program.  Candidates were evaluated on their farm and work involvement, youth program involvement, career choice and scholastic achievements.

The Ontario winners were Dennis Catt of St. Thomas and Deanna Ringelberg from Troy.  The Quebec winners were Laurence Boulet and Maggy Desrochers.

Holstein Canada says the goal of the Education awards is to award well-rounded individuals in the Canadian dairy industry who have made a commitment to their industry, career, community and school.
