Junior Farmers At XPO In Stratford

The Perth County Junior Farmers are planting themselves at the Canadian Dairy XPO in Stratford.

For the second year in a row, the Junior Farmers have a food both at the event and are showcasing local products and food.

Amanda Brodhagen, vice-president of the Perth County Junior Farmers, says their activities at the Dairy XPO play an important role.

Called the Seed Bunk, the Perth County Junior Farmers booth also provides an opportunity to raise money for their community betterment projects and charity.

The Canadian Dairy XPO in Stratford runs today and tomorrow at the Rotary Complex.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
