CASA Focus On Tractor And Machinery Training

The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association, or CASA, in partnership with Farm Credit Canada, is announcing that over $100,000 has been awarded to help enhance tractor and machinery training across Canada.

The FCC Ag Safety Fund has provided charitable and non-profit organizations the financial support to deliver community-based farm safety training programs since 2010.  This is the fifth year of the FCC Ag Safety Fund and the training efforts have narrowed to focus on tractor and machinery training.

11 organizations will receive FCC Ag Safety Fund support in seven provinces.

FCC is a long-time supporter CASA and of farm safety initiatives.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
