OFA Gears Up For Federal Election

The Ontario Federation of Agriculture wants to make sure the agriculture and food industry is well understood going into a federal election.

OFA officials say policies and regulations that are developed at a federal level are felt at provincial and municipal levels.  Rejean Pommainville is a Board Member of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture.  He says there are three key issues that should be addressed.

The agriculture and food industry is one of the largest economic contributors to Canada’s economy and generates 1 in 8 jobs.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
