Beef Research Information Website Expanding

The Beef Cattle Research Council is going to open up it's website to more beef industry research information.

The site was originally set up to communicate the objectives and results of projects funded by the National Check-off and the Beef Cattle Industry Science Clusters.

Spokesperson Andrea Brocklebank says they've seen huge producer and industry group interest in the project fact sheets on the website.

She says the site now has the capability for other organisations that fund beef, cattle and forage -related research of interest to the Canadian beef industry to submit summaries of their projects.

Beef Cattle Research Council staff will moderate those submissions to make sure they adequately summarize sound science available to the industry or pertinent to industry stakeholders.

The submissions will also need to follow the fact sheet template set up by the Council.

That website is www.beefresearch.ca.
