U-S Commodity Event Draws Record Crowds

The recent Commodity Classic in the U-S broke several records.

Total attendance came in at just under 8 thousand - more than 600 more than the previous record, set in 2015.

They also had over 43 hundred growers at this year's event - about 500 more than last year.

Co-Chair Sam Butler says farmers were actively engaged in everything the event had to offer.

The Commodity Classic is produced by the National Corn Growers Association, American Soybean Association, National Association of Wheat Growers and National Sorghum Producers.

This year's event was in Arizona.

Next year it's in New Orleans.
