GFO To Discuss Pollinator Health With Ag Minister

Grain Farmers of Ontario reps will meet with provincial Agriculture Minister Jeff Leal later this month.

Chair Mark Brock says they'll be reviewing and discussing the Ontario Pollinator Health Blueprint.

Brock is hoping Leal will seriously consider what the GFO calls a workable solution for all stakeholders before the draft seed treatment regulations are released.

The Blueprint was developed by the Pollinator Task Force, set up by GFO and including beekeepers, farms and others in the value chain.

The Grain Farmers of Ontario/Ag Minister meeting is scheduled for March 26th.
