IPM Wins Two Ontario Festivals And Events Awards

Ontario's agricultural community has always known the International Plowing Match is a big deal.

Now the event is getting recognition with two awards from Festivals and Events Ontario.

The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo has been recognized as one of Ontario's 2015 Top Festivals and Events.

That makes it one of the top 100 Festivals and Events of Distinction in the province.

The IPM was also awarded a level of Distinction Award.

That award honours a select group of 23 representing some of the most well-known and respected celebrations in Ontario which draw both an international and domestic audience.

Last year's IPM was in Simcoe County.

It's in Eastern Ontario this year.

The 2016 IPM is in Wellington County and it will be in Huron County in 2017.
