Provincial Goat Organisation Names 2015 Executive

Anton Slingerland is back for another term as president of Ontario Goat.

The Norwich-area dairy goat farmer was re-elected for a third term at the organisation's recent Board of Directors meeting.

His vice-presidents this year are Eldon Bowman of Gorrie and Dirk Boogerd of Embro.

Ilderton-area dairy goat farmer Michele Bowering joins the Ontario Goat board, replacing the retiring Ian Mayberry.

The other members of the Ontario Goat Board of Directors are Cinthia Hope, Ed Donkers, Greg Haskett, Jason Lyons and Terry McNeely.

The directors were elected to three-year terms at the Ontario Goat annual general meeting.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
