Creating Dialogue About Farmers Ongoing Stewardship Commitment

It's a chance to showcase farmers ongoing stewardship commitment.

CleanFarms is running the Great Ontario Clean Farms Challenge this year.

General Manager Barry Friesen says the challenge is designed to help create a dialogue about the on-farm innovations that help farmers reduce, reuse and recycle agricultural waste.

It's open to all farmers who own or operate commercial farms in Ontario.

Finalists will be selected based on their commitment to best practices, innovation and participation in recycling programs.

The winner gets a 5 thousand dollar cash prize.

Deadline for entries in the Great Ontario Clean Farms Challenge is July 30th.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
