On-line Option For Farmers Wanting Production Insurance

Agricorp officials admit their phone lines get pretty busy as we get closer to the deadline for reporting acreages for production insurance.

This year, the agency has added an on-line option for producers to use to report those acres.

Spokesman Jim Zavitz says the on-line reporting will be available May 16th through the planting season.

He's encouraging growers to report their acres as soon as they finish planting and not wait until the deadline.

The deadline for reporting corn acres to Agricorp for production insurance coverage is June 10th - it's June 30th for soybeans.

For those reporting by phone, the Agricorp Call Centre number is 888-247-4999.
