Pork Congress, Ribs and Blues Fest Details Released

Plans for this year's Hog Wild Week in Stratford have been released.

The Ontario Pork Congress is partnering with the annual Stratford Ribs and Blues fest for the 3rd year to run the event, which runs June 15-21.

This year features many new attractions, including a Father’s Day BBQ Cook-Off, sanctioned by the Canadian Southern BBQ Association.

There will also be a “Blues Cruise” on the river with live music, a motorcycle show and shine, and a huge classic car show.

Many different food attractions will be included of course, with the OPC hosting numerous educational seminars on pork as well.

Live acts run Friday to Sunday and include local guitar hero Bill Durst, as well as famed Canadian rocker David Wilcox.

The Ontario Pork Congress itself runs June 17th and 18th.
