Prices Rising For Farm Products

The prices Canadian farmers got for their products was up 5.4 per cent in March from a year ago.

Statistics Canada says that's mainly because of higher cattle and grain prices. The agency says the livestock and animal products index was up 7.5 per cent on the year.

Statscan says the crops index was up 4.7 per cent in March from a year ago.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
