Nominations Open For Several Area OFA Director's Spots

The Ontario Federation of Agriculture is looking for directors for five different zones this year.

That includes Zone 7, which is Huron and Perth counties - Zone 9, which is Dufferin/Waterloo and Wellington - and Zone 4, Elgin and Oxford counties.

The other two OFA zones involved in this year's elections are 13 and 14.

Nominations are now open - they close June 26th.

Nominees and the two people nominating them all have to be voting OFA members who reside in the Zone.

The full list of nominees will be published after June 26th.

The nominees will then have a chance to refuse the nomination.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
