Organic Meadow Gets Longer Creditor Protection

Organic Meadow has been given more time to come up with a creditor proposal.

The organic dairy co-operative's creditor protection has been extended until July 31st.

A statement from the co-operative says there is strong interest by multiple parties in partnering with Organic Meadow for the future.

It goes on to say details on that will be reflected in the final formalized proposal to be put forth next month.

One Organic Meadow spokesperson suggests that after a challenging spring, it is looking like there is light at the end of the tunnel and a strong future ahead for the co-operative and farmers.

The Organic Meadow co-operative has over 100 family farm members.
