4-H Ontario Wins Funding For Science-Related Activities

4-H Ontario has been named one of this year's winners in Cargill's Together We Thrive program.

The six winners from across the country each get 25 thousand dollars.

Applicants need to share one of Cargill's three focus areas for giving - Food Security and Nutrition, Education and Environmental Stewardship.

4-H Ontario won in the Education category.

The organisation plans to use the money to bolster it's science-related activities for youth and adults.

The money will also help 4-H Ontario offer training for volunteers on how to best deliver the new information to senior 4-H members.

Other winners in the Cargill program were from Manitoba, North Saskatchewan, South Saskatchewan, Alberta and Peace Region.
