Western Ontario Junior Dairy Show Top Results

A Perth County 4-H'er picked up a second place finish in this year's Western Ontario Junior Dairy show.

Jessica Brock was second in the Senior Showmanship category.

Morgan Anderson of Kent took first in that category.

The first place Junior and Grand Champion Showman was won by Dani Karn of Oxford County.

The Reserve Champion Showman honours went to Kyla Lewis of Middlesex.

97 4-H'ers 14 years and younger took part in this year's competition - the 14th year for the Western Ontario Junior Dairy show.

It was held at the Outdoor Farm Show site near Woodstock July 13th and 14th.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
