Improving Business Skills For Farm Owners/Managers

The Advanced Farm Management Program is described as a chance to improve farm owners and managers business management skills.

The program enters it's fourth year in November in three locations - St. Jacobs, London and North Gower.

Rob Hannam of Synthesis Agri-Food Network and Mike Bossy of Bossy Nagy Group Chartered Professional Accountants will be facilitating the sessions.

Agri-food Management Institute Chair Doug Alexander says participants will be exposed to best practices in human resources, financial management and marketing.

AMI offers the program in partnership with Synthesis Agri-Food Network.

The program's five intensive, one-day training sessions stretch over a four month period from November of 2015 to February of 2016.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
