Ontario's Team Chosen For World Dairy Expo Dairy Cattle Judging Competition

A Perth County 4-H'er will be part of the Ontario team at the National 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging Contest at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin.

Derek Van de Walle was among the top winners at the recent Ontario Inter-County Judging Competition.

He'll be joined on the Ontario team by Conner Sikma of Durham East, Deanna Ringelberg of Wentworth and Madison Dyment of Brant.

80 junior and senior 4-H members from across the province participated in the event held late last month in Metcalfe, Ontario.

This year's winning High Senior Team was Lambton County's duo of Michelle Slaughter and Jenna Elliott.

The winning Junior High Team was made up of Emma Roszell and Chloe Grabell of Niagara South.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
