Huron 4-H Judging Event Hosts 77 Competitors

2 competitors tied for the high overall score at the annual Huron County 4-H Judging Competition.

Dallas Coultes of Brussels was one of them - also finishing first in the Intermediate Division.

Senior Division winner Jolande Oudshoorn of Auburn was the other one tying for high overall score.

The other division winners were Shelby Barger of Lucknow in Novice and Bronwyne Garniss of Fordwich in the Junior Division.

Berlyn Garniss of Fordwich finished first in the Open Class.

And the Top Team in this year's Huron County 4-H Judging Competition was made up of Julia DeJong, Kabrina Bishop, Max Johnston and Shelby Higgins.

The August 11th event at the Seaforth Agriplex attracted a total of 77 competitors.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
