Anthony Bertrand Named Top Perth Plowman

42 competitors took part in this year's Perth County Plowing Match.

They were on the John Berlett farm near Listowel.

Perth's Grand Champion plowman was Anthony Bertrand of St. Marys.

Ryan Boyd off Monkton took the Junior title.

The new Perth County Queen of the Furrow is Haily Jung of Monkton.

Perth County plowing match committee members will meet the end of November to look at plans for the 2016 event.

Sara Wood, chair of the Queen of the Furrow committee, says there were 42 plowing competitors.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
