U-S Corn, Soybean Crop Conditions Holding Steady

The U-S corn crop is having trouble cracking the 70 per cent mark for a good to excellent rating.

The USDA has it at 69 per cent again in this week's Crop Progress Report.

That's the same as last week.

The soybean crop condition is also holding steady at 63 per cent, same as last week.

The corn is 4 points behind last year, soybeans 7 points behind.

The USDA says the spring wheat harvest is way ahead of the five year average - coming in at 75 per cent completed against the 47 per cent average for this time of the year,
