Half of the tickets for this month's Breakfast on the Farm have already been spoken for.

The tickets are free - but only the first 2 thousand people to register are guaranteed breakfast.

This event is September 20th in Essex County.

Farm & Food Care Ontario runs these breakfasts, which started in 2013.

They call them a unique opportunity for farmers and non-farming Ontarians to have a conversation about food and farming.

Visitors will get a complimentary all-Ontario breakfast and a farm tour.

While the event runs from 9 to 1 - they stop serving breakfast at 11:30.

Again, it's a free event - but only the first 2 thousand to register are guaranteed the meal.

Registration is through the Farm & Food Care Ontario website.

The September 20th Breakfast on the Farm is being held at Hylander Farms - a beef, grain and veal farm in Tecumseh.
