Canadian Soybean Group Building Staff

Soy Canada has a new Director of Communications and Stakeholder Relations.

The new national organisation has hired Lyndsey Smith for the job.

Smith has an extensive career in agriculture media, including her most recent stint as the editor of RealAgriculture.com.

Soy Canada Executive Director Jim Everson says Smith will lead the association's outreach and engagement strategy and contribute to all aspects of Soy Canada's mandate.

Soy Canada represents the full soybean value chain in Canada, including farmers, exporters, processors and seed companies.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
