Fund In Memory Of COFS Founder

A special fund has been set up in the memory of the founder of Canada's Outdoor Farm Show.

The Jocius family has established the Ginty Jocius Brain Cancer Research Fund in memory of Ginty, who passed away in 2008 of brain cancer. They've also made a special arrangement with Brain Canada that will help leverage any donations into more money for research. The arrangement will see Brain Canada match - dollar-for-dollar - any donations made to the Ginty Jocius fund before the end of this year. The money will come through the Canadian Brain Research Fund, a public-private partnership established by the federal government,

Donations can be made online at www.gintyfund.org or mailed to the Canadian Cancer Society.

To qualify for matching funding the donations should include a reference that it is to be credited to the Ginty Jocius Brain Cancer Research Fund.
