3% More Cattle On Feed In U-S September 1st

The USDA says there were more cattle on feed in the 'States on September 1st than there were a year ago.

The department's latest Cattle On Feed report says the increase comes to 3 per cent.

Placements in August were down 5 per cent from a year ago while marketings were down 6 per cent from 2014.

According to the USDA, the 1 point 59 million head of fed cattle marketed in the States in August was the lowest number for August since the series began in 1996.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
