GF2 Cost-Share Funding Intake Opens For Winter Projects

Time for farmers to be thinking about winter projects under Growing Forward 2.

The Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association's latest funding application intake is now open - runs to November 5th.

Projects involving physical improvements can get 35 per cent cost-share funding.

That includes things like on-farm processing facilities, upgrading barns for animal health and welfare and upgrading greenhouse water systems.

Farmers could also get up to 50 per cent cost-share funding for skills development, conducting on-farm audits and assessments and planning for the future.

Funding approvals will go out in early January.

The information on the latest Growing Forward 2 cost-share funding intake is on the OSCIA website.
