Bruce, Huron Holstein Exhibitors Win Bragging Rights

A Bruce County exhibitor took one of the top honours at the recent Ontario Holstein Autumn Opportunity competition Orangeville.

Hodglynn Holsteins of Kincardine showed the Grand Champion animal in the competition.

Huron County's Glen and Curtis McNeil were also named runners-up for the Premier Breeder Banner in the competition.

Hells-Lea Farms of Mildmay captured first place in the Senior Heifer Calf class.

The Orangeville event attracted over 200 animals.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
