OSMA Award Winners Include Bruce, Wellington Sheep Farms

Keith Todd from Lucknow's Todd Sheep Company picked up an award at the recent Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency Annual General Meeting.

Todd has the ram lamb with the top maternal growth index in the any other breed category in the GenOvis awards.

William MacTaggart from MacTaggart Suffolks of Rockwood in Wellington County won the award for the Suffolk ram lamb with the top growth index and the top maternal growth index.

Other GenOvis award winners were from Stittsville, Bowmanville and the Orangeville area.

The Mapleseed pasture award for sheep producers went to Albert Botha of Shropshire Hills Farm in Grafton.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
