Deere Accelerating Precision Planting Equipment Market Reach

Deere and Company is buying a European precision planting company.

The purchase includes Monosem's four facilities in France and two in the U-S.

Deere officials say Monosem will retain it's own brand and trademark and will leverage its own operational strengths.

Spokesman John May says the deal helps accelerates John Deere's market reach in precision planting equipment and adds engineering expertise to further develop the company's planting technology.
