Eastern Canada's Largest Oilseed Processing Plant Changing Owners

Viterra has wrapped up it's deal to buy the largest oilseed processing plant in Eastern Canada.

The Saskatchewan-based company has completed the purchase of TRT-ETGO, including it's canola and soybean crushing and refining plant in Becancour , Quebec.

That plant has a crushing capacity of 1.05 million metric tonnes a year.

Viterra handles, processes, distributes and transports grains and oilseeds.

It's parent company is Glencore.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
